Important information when booking your appointment:
Piccadilly Surgery is committed to keeping our patients, staff doctors & all visitors safe at all time.

Please visit the SA Health website for information – including if you need to self isolation, quarantine or getting tested.
If you are experiencing respiratory symptoms:
Please notify the surgery prior to arriving for your appointment if you have any of the following symptoms:

Cough, fever, sore throat, shortness of breath and or loss of smell/taste
It is important that you DO NOT ATTEND THE SURGERY for everyone’s safety.
You will in the first instance, be given a telehealth appointment. You may need to have a negative COVID-19 swab 72hours prior to a face to face consultation, your GP will instruct you

When booking a general appointment, please consider what you want to gain from a visit with the doctor and remember that standard appointments run for 15 minutes. Please request an extended appointment if you feel you need more time, which allows you a 30 minute consultation.

Online Booking

Booking an appointment online is easy, just download the HotDoc app and search your doctor or the clinic name.

Reserved Appointments

Piccadilly Surgery reserves a number of appointments each day for people who have developed an acute medical condition and need to be seen urgently. Please ring the surgery as soon as possible after 8:15am to obtain one of these appointment times.

Fees

We are a private-billing practice and therefore require payment at the time of consultation. Upon payment of your fee we can immediately refund your Medicare rebate into your savings or cheque account via EFTPOS, provided your details are up to date. At times it will be necessary for you to lodge your Medicare claim by visiting a Medicare office or uploading through your my gov “medicare”

Please note the surgery does not accept cash payment for consultation
We have a sliding scale of fees, depending on the duration and type of your consultation. The fee list is on display in our waiting room. If you would like a copy of the fees, please ask our reception staff.

Repeat Prescriptions and Referrals

Prescriptions & referrals require at least a telehealth consultation to allow monitoring of any medical conditions and to assess the suitability of medications and/or treatment. These appointments are NOT Bulk Billed payment is required on the day

If exceptional circumstances apply, we can send a request to your GP for a script or referral to be written.

Please understand we receive many requests each day & the GP will need to check your medical history before making a decision about your request. For these reason the GP will need sufficient time (48-72hrs) to respond to your request.

Also be aware that, based on your medical history, the GP may feel a duty of care to consult with you before writing a prescription or referral.

We currently bulk bill patients who are in receipt Department of Veteran’s Affairs Gold Card and childhood immunisation.

We do not bulk bill patients who are in receipt of concession card through centrelink, these patients are billed with a reduced GAP payment

All telehealth appointment are limited to 10 minutes in duration and are not bulk billed and have a scale $30 gap payment of  (government concession card holders) & $50 for all other patients payable on the time of your consultation.

Note: additional gap payment applies per each 10 minute your telehealth appointment exceeds the allocated time.

When you are referred for services outside this practice the provider may also charge a gap payment. For example radiology, allied health & specialist services
